I left in the fifth and Norton was winning 4 to 2. If Norton holds on they'll play Big Stone again Saturday at noon for the final game of the championship!

Well BSG plays Coeburn ten Saturday morning. But who has heard of a championship game ten in the morning? Shouldn't a championship game be help at night or the evening?

Most of you don't realize that the times are usually set by the Southern Region Headquarters. That is so they can handle a protest, if one should arise.

The schedule was made by the tournament director.
Yes it was, but it had to be approved (dates and times) by southern region headquarters.
Looks like they will be approving another schedule change if the forecast holds true.
Big Stone Gap Junior League beat Coeburn twice today and will be heading to the State Tournament in Honaker.
It's always a memorable experience when you get to go to state, but it sure can be costly if you have to travel up the road a ways. I can remember having to raise about $5000 each trip to take our kids to Portsmouth, Manassas, and Roanoke.
Honaker is not much of a state trip,who the hell would wanna go there?

Norton and Lee East are in the winners bracket (BSG is the only team left in the losers bracket)
Norton and Lee were to play eachother yesterday but a freak accodent sent one of the Norton players to the Hospital during warmups this left Norton with only 8 players.....The LL Higherups were called and the game has been rescheduled for today. with the loser to play BSG tomarrow

I will this evening (I missed the 1st game (BSG over Pound not sure of the score) got set for the Lee/Norton game and made the comment that they (Norton) was shaveing things close with only 9 players on the roster when one of the kids takes a ball off the hand (his glove hand and I am not 100% sure how) but there was alot of swelling and the kid was in alot of pain so he went to get X-Rays the game was posponed until today but if the kid broke his hand and Norton does not have anyone else on the team I am not sure what will happen
any idea who it was?
